Beverly Ann Ulyat, 86, of Kentland, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at George Ade Memorial Health Care Center of Brook.

She was born October 19, 1935 in Brook to the late Olin E. and Leona (Montgomery) Ulyat. Beverly attended Brook grade school and graduated from Remington High School in 1953.

Beverly was a member of the Plymouth Art Colony and United Methodist Church of Plymouth and Remington. She worked after high school at United Telephone Company for over 41 years in Remington, Kentland, Rensselaer, and Plymouth. Beverly loved photography especially of flowers and loved reading books and newspapers. She was a talented artist winning awards for her drawings and paintings.

She is survived by two siblings, Rosalie Mathis of Kentland and Jerry Ulyat of Remington. Nieces and nephews, Missy (Eddie) Allen of Rensselaer, Kelly Mathis of Monticello, Brian Mathis of Kentland, and Brad (Carla) Ulyat of Remington. Beverly is also survived by several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death along with her parents are siblings, Marilyn Ulyat and Richard Ulyat; two sisters-in-law, Martha and Betty; great-niece, Kelsey Comer.

Friends may call from 10 AM (CDT) until the time of Funeral Service 11 AM (CDT) Friday, October 7, 2022 at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home of Kentland. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery of Brook.
