• 80 year old Dennis "Wiz" Z. Wisner, of Monticello, Indiana, passed away at 1:11 a.m., Saturday, October 15, 2022, at his home with his family at his side. 
  
  

Wiz was born on Tuesday, June 30, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois,  to the late Anthony  and Mary ( Sintich ) Wisner.   

 

He had lived in the rural Monticello, Indiana, area since May of 2021, coming from the Schererville, Indiana, area. 

 

There will be a private memorial service for the family.   

 

Burial will be Private for the Family.

 

Biographical Information:
   Wiz had lived in the rural Monticello, Indiana, area since May of 2021, coming from the Schererville, Indiana, area.  He loved his juke-box, lawn and gardening, watering his grass, coffee, cars, smokes, and especially his grand dog Mazie. Wiz was a deputy sheriff for Cook County, Illinois, for ten years.  He was a brick layer/foreman for the city of Chicago, Illinois, sewer district for the remainder of his career.

David (wife Karen) Wisner of Hebron, Indiana,

Daniel "Dan" (wife Carrie) Wisner of Monticello, Indiana, and

Jennifer (husband Frank) Grynovich of DeMotte, Indiana;

 

Nine (9) Grandchildren;

 

Three (3) Great Grandchildren;

Linda Miller of Schererville, Indiana;

Theresa "Terri" Hoffarth of California;

Carl Swanson of Illinois;
