Billy Woodcock, Sr., 85, of Monticello, Indiana, passed away at 1:47 p.m., Monday, November 14, 2022, at the Indiana University Health White Memorial Hospital Emergency Room of Monticello, Indiana.  

He was born on Sunday, April 25, 1937, in Reynolds, Indiana, to the late Walter and Iris Irene (Piatt) Woodcock.

 

On September 15, 1956, in Reynolds, Indiana, he married Lois M. (Murray) Woodcock; she passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018.  

Billy had grown up in Monon, Indiana, and moved to Monticello, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022, at the Calvary Temple House of Hope and Healing, 1216 Broadway, Monticello, Indiana, 47960.

 

Celebration of Life Service will be at the Calvary Temple House of Hope and Healing, 1216 W. Broadway, Monticello, Indiana, 47960, at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022, with Pastor Charlie Roberts officiating. 

 

Memorials may be given to the Calvary Temple House of Hope and Healing.  Envelopes will be available at the church or can be mailed to the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home, 6368 E. US 24, Monticello, Indiana, 47960.

 

Burial will be in the Hughes Cemetery of rural Monticello, Indiana, following the Celebration of Life Service at the Church. 

 

Biographical Information:
   Billy had lived in the Monticello, Indiana, coming from Monon, Indiana. He worked at the old RCA of Monticello, Indiana, for 24 years. Billy grew up farming and worked on the farm as a young man. He was known for raising his children, they enjoyed fishing, hunting, and everything the outdoors had to offer. Billy was devoted to going to church and LOVED the Lord. He never knew a stranger and made friends wherever he went.
