Jon D. McFall

( January 28, 1955 - February 2, 2023 )

Jon D McFall of Brook Indiana

Passed away on February 2, 2023.  Jon was born on 1-28-1955 to Beverly McFall and James McFall both deceased. Raised in Remington Indiana and graduated in 1973 from Tri-County High School.  He attended Bell & Howell Trade school in Chicago.  He worked for Per Pak in Foresman, IN after trade school as nightshift warehouse manager for 14 yrs.

He was hired by Parker Hannifin in 1986 and was instrumental in the opening of the Cylinder division in Goodland where he became the best machinist programmer then advanced to nightshift foreman and ultimately became the production planner until his retirement in 2020. He thoroughly enjoyed his time at Parker Hannifin.

Jon loved attending heavy metal concerts and taking cruises to the Bahamas.   He lived a full bachelor’s lifestyle having the ability to do everything he wanted on his terms.  He was a collector at heart from books and movies to cars and guitars.   He loved reading, listening to music, playing pool and pinball.  He enjoyed fast cars owning a variety of them over his lifetime.  His most recent favorites were his Cayman S Porsche and Dark Horse Ford Mustang GT.

He took care of everyone around him by providing and protecting them as best he could.  He was ingenious at figuring out how to make the impossible possible, a wealth of knowledge from A-Z and had a huge giving heart.

He is survived by his sisters Joni Deno of Battleground, IN and Jennifer (Wayne) Sanford of Wolcott, IN.  Nephews Ryan Sanford of Seattle WA, Kyle Sanford of Wolcott, IN and Brandon Deno of Battleground, IN, niece Kyra Sanford of Noblesville, IN and great nephew Raiden and great niece Raileigh and special friend Caitline Iguara, her daughter Melody and son Kaynon of Kentland.

Special thanks to Liberty Dialysis Nurses Kaitlin and Ashley who took great care of him for many years, he truly appreciated being treated as family with compassion and care.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation in Jon’s name.

Friends may call from 10 AM (EST) – 12 PM (EST) Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home of Remington. Following visitation hours, a graveside service will be held at Meadow Lake Cemetery of Wolcott.
