Patricia A. Pat" Belt, 83, of rural Monticello (Lowes Bridge area), Indiana, passed away at 11:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2023, at the home with her family by her side.  

She was born on Friday, October 27, 1939, in Benton, Arkansas, to the late Roy and Nancy (Wallace) McNeil.

On April 29, 1957, in Shawneetown, Illinois, she married Calvin Belt; he survives.  
 
A Memorial Celebration Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. (CST), Sunday, April 2, 2023, at the Crown Point American Legion Post 1401 Main Street, Crown Point, Indiana, 46307.

 

Burial will be Private for the Family.

Biographical Information:
   Pat had lived in the rural Monticello (Lowes Bridge area), Indiana, area since 2006, coming from Lansing, Illinois.  She had fought a hard five year battle of pancreatic cancer.  Pat had worked for ten years at School District #148 and retired from there.  After moving to Monticello, Indiana, she worked at Indiana Beach for several years.  Pat loved crafting, gardening, and spending time with her granddaughter and her dogs.  She was a huge lover of animals and volunteered at Happy Tails of Buffalo, Indiana.  Pat was a Hallmark Channel lover and she was not to be disturbed while watching her shows and movies.  She loved the movie "Sweet Home Alabama and The Christmas Card." Her favorite games shows were The Price Is Right and Family Feud.  Another favorite show of Pat's was Flea Market Flip.

Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
