Frances J. Brechbiel, 94, of Monticello (formerly of Burnettsville), Indiana, passed away at 8:56 a.m., Monday, March 6, 2023, at the Monticello Healthcare Center of Monticello,  Indiana, with her family at her side.   

She was born on Wednesday, February 17, 1929, in Rockfield, Indiana, to the late Harry and Helen M. (Smith) Gardner.  

On September 27, 1952, in Burnettsville, Indiana, she married Charles "Ronald / Ron" Brechbiel; he passed away on Monday, May 1, 2006.   
 
Visitation will be from 12:00 (noon) to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.  

 

Celebration of Life Service will be at the Miller – Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana, at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana, with Rev. Jerry Long of the Burnettsville Baptist Church of Burnettsville, Indiana, officiating.  

 

Burial will be at the Davis Cemetery of rural Burnettsville (Cass County), Indiana.  

 

Memorials may be given to the Burnettsville Baptist Church of Burnettsville, Indiana, or to the wishes of the donor.  Envelopes will be available here at the funeral home or can be mailed to the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home, 6368 E. US 24, Monticello, Indiana, 47960. 

Biographical Information:
   Frances had lived in the Burnettsville, Indiana, area all her life and was a 1947 graduate of Burnettsville High School of Burnettsville, Indiana.  She went on to attend and graduate of Business College.  Frances retired as an accountant at the old RBM Factory of Logansport, Indiana.  She was a member of the Baptist Church of Burnettsville, Indiana, and Crystal Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star #165 and Rainbow Girls, both of Monticello, Indiana.  She had served as the Jackson Township Trustee for nine years.  Frances was a charter member of the Jacksonettes Home Ec Club of Burnettsville, Indiana.

David (wife Sherry) Brechbiel of Monticello, Indiana;

 

Two (2) Grandchildren,

Matthew (wife Nicole) Booth of Fowler, Indiana,

Jennifer (husband Steve) Greeson of Attica, Indiana,

 

Four (4) Great Granddaughters,

Emma Booth, 

Claire Booth,

Ruby Booth, and

Alisa Greeson; 

 

One (1) Great Grandson,

Gage Greeson;

 

One (1) Great Great Grandson,

Yerandi Greeson;

 

Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Great Great Nieces, Great Great Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
