Donna Colleen Henson, 71, of Monticello, Indiana, passed away at 1:27 p.m., Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis, Indiana, with her family by her side.  

She was born on Thursday, July 12, 1951, in Rensselaer, Indiana, to the late Paul and Juanita (Hunt) Allen.

On May 25, 1990, in Monticello, Indiana, she married Richard Henson; he survives.  
 
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.   

 

A Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be at the Miller – Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana, at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2023, with Rev. Donald Harmon of the Yeoman United Methodist Church of Yeoman, Indiana, officiating.  

 

Burial will be Private for the Family.

Biographical Information:
   Donna had lived in the Monon and Monticello communities.  She had only been back to the Monticello, Indiana, area since February 21, 2023.  Her death was very unexpected.  Donna loved being outside, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends when she came back to visit. Donna loved to cook, crocheting, and was an amazing (interesting) painter.  She loved traveling, camping, and sightseeing.
