Nicole A. Taylor, 51, of Dallas, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at IU Health Arnett Hospital of Lafayette, Indiana. She was born March 19, 1972 in Fort Knox, Kentucky to Earlene “Sue” Richardson Taylor and the late Ronald J. Taylor. Nicole was a 1990 graduate of South Grand Prairie High School.

Nicole was employed with Health Management Systems (HMS) as a Business IT Analyst for the last 14 years. She was the best Domino player and loved spending time with children, grandchildren, and family.

Surviving along with her mother, are her children, Mark Elliott Powell Jr. and Makayla Marie Powell both of Texas; sister, Tamara Nelson; grandchildren, Laela Marie Powell, Saidey ‘Sue Marie Williams, Sophia Nichole ‘Ann Williams, Ellie Amor Powell, Luka Elliott Powell, Hazel Ne’Veah Hill, Romeo R. Hill, Seniyah Marie Hill, Jayson Rey Hill, Kyle Prince Hill, King Mirekal Hill.

Preceding her in death along with her father is a son, Jason Kyle Hill; brothers, Scott Taylor and Anthony Allen.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date in Texas.
