Marilyn S. (Draper) Cooper - Frank, 89, of Monticello, Indiana, died on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at 2:28 p.m. in the Indiana University White Memorial Hospital of Monticello, Indiana.

    Marilyn was born in Delphi, Indiana, to Charles and Margret (Winegardener) Draper, they preceded her in death.

    On April 19, 1952, she married, Edwin Cooper, he died in January 11, 1988.  She then married James Frank on September 17, 1992.  He died March 30, 2004.

    Marilyn was a member of the Improved Order of the Redmen Tribe #518, Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge F.O.E. #2570, and the VFW Auxiliary #2231, American Legion Womens Auxiliary #81, and the AmVets Auxiliary Post #91, all of Monticello, Indiana.  She was known as "Mom / Grandma" to many people around the area, for she knew no stranger.

    Marilyn is survived by sons, Mike Cooper of Monticello, Indiana, Mark Cooper of Delphi, Indiana, Mitch (wife Lil) Cooper of Burnettsville, Indiana, Monte Cooper of Monticello, Indiana, Matthew Cooper of Monticello, Indiana, Mauri (wife Lisa) Cooper of Monticello, Indiana, and Bob Pemberton of Monon, Indiana, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 
     Marilyn is preceded in death by, Husband, Edwin Cooper, husband, James Frank, daughter, Marlene Sue Altman, son, Marshall E. "Marty" Cooper, two grandchildren.

    A gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Marilyn will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., at the Monticello Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge #2570 of Monticello, Indiana. located at 402 N. Third Street, Monticello, Indiana 47960.
