Edward Andrew Boll, 72 ascended peacefully into the mainframe on August 22, 2023, at his home in Brookston, IN, surrounded by his family. 

  Ed was born February 18, 1951, in Pedro, OH, to the late, Herman and Mary (Thieken) Boll. 

  He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rosemary (Likavec) Boll, their five children Christopher Boll, Heather (David) Robinson, Magdalen Boll, Elizabeth (Jon) Larabee, Bug (Sean) Carmean, three grandchildren, Ethan, Abigail, and Teegan, ten siblings, and many niblings. 

  An accomplished Computer Programmer and Engineer, Ed mastered dozens of programming languages.  He hopes some of the dead languages will come in handy in his new position.  Ed was an avid whittler, only taking 35 years to complete his first chess set.  He also enjoyed traveling, fishing, reading, weaving, and photography.  Ed was a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus.  Golfing with Rosemary was one of his greatest passions, even if they had to keep an eraser handy when keeping score. 

  A funeral mass and burial are being planned for Saint Peters In Chains Catholic Church in Wheelersburg, OH, with a meal to follow at the church parish hall. 

  As a prolific gardener, Ed was always surrounded by plants, the family does encourage flowers and seeds to be sent to the church for the mass.
