Maralyn Ann Ecklund, 89 of Royal Center, Indiana, died on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 2:19 p.m. in the IU Health Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Maralyn was born on Saturday, August 18, 1934, in White County, Indiana, to Ernest Foerman and Evaline (Straub) Foerman. They both preceded her in death.

On Monday, December 13, 1982, in Monticello, Indiana she married Lee Ecklund. He survives. 

Maralyn was born and raised in the White County area.  She had worked for and retired from the United Telephone Company.

No visitation is scheduled at this time.

Private family graveside services will be conducted at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to Happy Tails Animal Shelter, in Maralyn's Honor. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or can be mailed to 6368 E. US 24, Monticello, Indiana 47960 C/O Ecklund Family.
