Gregory Dwayne Kennedy, 47, of Reynolds, Indiana, died at 12:05 a.m. on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at his residence with his loving family by his side.

Dwayne was born on Wednesday, June 9, 1976, in Muncie, Indiana to Steven A. Kennedy and Sue E. (Wilt) Kennedy. They survive. 

Dwayne enjoyed fishing, camping and woodworking.  He truly enjoyed Halloween and spooky movies.  Dwayne loved children and being around family.  Most of his nieces and nephews call him their 2nd Dad.  Dwayne especially had a deep love for the two girls he helped raise, Mackenzie and Chiann whom he considered his daughters.  He enjoyed collecting skulls. 

Dwayne is survived by his parents, Steven and Sue Kennedy of Reynolds, Indiana; sister, Karen Kennedy of Goodland, Indiana; brothers, Steven (wife Ashley) Kennedy of Kentland, Indiana and Joseph Kennedy of Reynolds, Indiana; aunts and uncles, Debbie Smith, Teresa Shinn, Michael Kennedy, Patricia Lee, Robert Wilt, and Rudy Sandoval; several very special nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.

Dwayne was preceded in death by Maternal Grandparents, Phyllis Sandoval and Gerl Wilt; Paternal Grandparents, Ray Kennedy and Della Kennedy.

No visitation or services are scheduled at this time a private family celebration of life will be at a later date.

Burial will be private for the family.
