Thomas E. Funk, 85, of Burnettsville, IN.  passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024.  He was born in Royal Center, IN.  on May 31, 1938, the son of Ivan Funk and Eleanor (Wind) Funk.  

He was a graduate of Royal Center High School.  Tom was a farmer all of his life and found joy in doing so.  He resided on his homestead for over 60 years.  Tom also worked at RCA of Monticello and LDI of Logansport through the years.  He  liked to collect toy tractors.  

Tom is survived by his wife, S. Carol Funk; three daughters:  Kandie Funk (Glenn Wilson), Kathie Meadows (Larry), and Elizabeth “Betsie” Funk; stepchildren:  Charlotte Roth (Mike), Terry DeWitt, Timothy J. DeWitt, Melinda Hoch (Clarence); his brother Richard Funk (Marcia); and Jeff Girard (Diane); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and step-  grandchildren.

He is preceded  in death by his parents; his son Thomas Michael Funk; sister Pat Funk; stepmother Audrey Funk; and grandson Brian Brady, Jr.  

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Miller – Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello.  Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Miller – Roscka Funeral Home with Reverend Benji Riddle officiating.  Interment will follow at Davis Cemetery in Burnettsville.  Memorial donations may be made to the White County Food Pantry.  Miller – Roscka Funeral Home is honored to be handling the arrangements.
