Randall R. Bowers, 65, of Papineau, IL, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at the family home in Sheldon, IL. 

He was born November 12, 1958 in Rensselaer, IN to the late Deloss J. Bowers and Carolyn (Collard) Wicks. Randall was a 1978 graduate of North Newton High School. 

His marriage was to Linda Zelinski on November 8, 1980 in Joliet, IL and she survives him. 

Randall was a member of the Papineau Fire Department where he was a volunteer for over 30 years. He had worked at Lifetime Doors of Watseka, Henderson Electric of Momence, and Cardinal Bus Lines of St. Anne.  Randall enjoyed fishing, boating, and loved fixing things. 

Surviving along with his wife are their children, Renee (Michael) Rose, Tina (Kason Hymon) Bowers, and Robert Bowers. Siblings, Mike (Tami) Bowers, Doug (Wendy) Bowers, Andy (Amanda) Bowers, Matt (Christy) Bowers, Mark (Gina) Wicks, Steve Wicks, Linda (Christopher) Gerber, Joe (Donna) Zelinski, Steve (Debbie) Zelinski, Jim (Shannon) Zelinski, and Terry Zelinski. Randall is also survived by his grandchildren, Dylan and Sadie Rose, Colton and Alyssa Bowers. 

Preceding him in death along with his parents is a son, Anthony Bowers; brother-in-law, Robert Zelinski; father and mother-in-law, Ted and Marge Zelinski. 

Per Randall’s wishes, no funeral services will be held at this time.
