Jay D. Armstrong, 52, of Reynolds, IN  passed away February 26, 2024.  He was born in Washington, Indiana on June 17, 1971, the son of David Armstrong and Carole (Beck) Armstrong.  

He graduated from Twin Lakes High School with the class of 1989.  Jay went on to study at Vincennes University.  He worked as a journeyman welder with Alcoa in Lafayette for 18 years.  

Jay enjoyed the outdoors.  Especially hunting, fishing, camping, and mushroom hunting.  He also enjoyed spending time gambling at casinos and playing pull tabs.  Jay spent a lot of his time at the race tracks working on #22,   where he loved being part of the Owens Racing Team.   

He is survived by his son, Paul D. Armstrong (Kristen Heshelman); sister, Tracey Williams; brother, David J. Armstrong (Kim); and sister, Jessie Charles.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.  

He was preceded in death by his parents,  David and Carole Armstrong.  

Visitation will be Friday, March 1, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home in Monticello.  A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 1, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home with Shawn Cain officiating.  Miller-Roscka Funeral Home is honored to be handling the arrangements.
