Doris E. Hubbard, 88, of Monticello, IN passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024.  She was born in Attica, IN on February 28, 1936 to the late Robert W. Boys and Leora E. Boys (Fix)

Doris worked for many years for St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette as a nurses aide.  She was a member of Monticello Christian Church and the Red Hat Society.  Doris enjoyed volunteering and helping in the community.  She made quilts, bears and Christmas stockings to give away to others.  

Doris is survived by her children:  Jeffrey Hubbard (Kathy), Debbie Stohland (Tony), Jennifer Parks (Jeff) and William Hubbard (Grant); grandchildren:  Michael Hubbard (Niamh), Jennifer Marie Cowan, Roberta Hubbard, Crystal Hubbard (Kenny), Danielle Hubbard (Tiaan), Jeremy Parks, and Jeffrey Hubbard, Jr.; and four great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, David Boys.  

The celebration of life for Doris will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Monticello Christian Church.  The time will be 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. for visitation and the Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00 p.m.
