Willard R. (Roy) Jones 74 of Monon, passed away at 2:38 PM Saturday June 15,2023 at the Rensselaer Care Center.  He had been a resident there for four years.  He was born in Lafayette, IN on July 22,1949, to the late Millard and Eliza Vaught Jones.  On December 23,1967, in Monon he married Brenda K. Kesler.  She survives.

Roy was at welder for CSX Railroad .  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hunting mushrooms, his dogs, mowing yards and doing for others.

Surviving with his beloved wife of 56 years are his children Amy (Randy) Smith of Monticello, Jerry (Melissa) Jones of Delphi, Kelly Jones  of Rensselaer, and Desiery (Ruby) Kyle of  Monon. 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren also survive Roy. Also surviving is a brother Millard Ray (Susan) Jones of Monticello and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by  four sisters  Celeste, Ange Mae, Ruby, Lear June, a great-granddaughter, Zoe, and a great-grandson, Issac.

Friends may call from 10 am until time of services at 1 pm Saturday June 22 at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home.  Pastor Ray Gonzales will officiate.  Burial will follow in Bedford Cemetery, Monon.
