Douglas Eric Murphy, 56, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024 in Little Elm, TX. Douglas
 was born May 1, 1968 in Monticello, IN to Dennis and Linda (Bulington) Murphy. 
 
He is survived by his mother, Linda Murphy of Providence Village, TX; sister Michelle
 Murphy LaBrie and nephews Cameron and Jacob of Santa Clarita, CA; fiancé, Tamara
 Jones and children, Trevor, Ethan, and Emily Jones all of Monticello, IN; aunt Jeanie
 Murphy of Austin, TX; cousins Ryan Murphy of Santa Clarita, CA and Brandon Murphy of
 Colorado; best Friend Brian Bird of Santa Clarita, CA; and beloved dogs Bleu and Lucy. 
 
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Murphy. 
 
Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00PM, Friday, June 21, 2024, at Slay Memorial Funeral
 Center in Aubrey, TX. 
 
A second visitation will be held from 12:30PM-2:00PM, Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Miller
Roscka Funeral Home in Monticello, IN with service to follow. Interment will follow at St.
 James Lutheran Cemetery in Reynolds, IN.
