Besslee J. Graham, 38, of Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2024 at IU Health Arnett Hospital of Lafayette.

She was born January 24, 1986 in Lawrenceburg, IN to Rex and Michele (McDannel) Halsema. Besslee was a 2004 graduate of South Newton High School.

Her marriage was to Eric Graham on November 16, 2019.

Besslee was employed with Venture Logistics of Lafayette for the past two years in equipment control. She previously worked in food service for several years in management.

Besslee loved spending time with her family, swimming, getting her nails done, attending concerts, sitting by the fire, and watching movies.

Surviving along with her husband and parents is her 18-month-old daughter, Zoey Graham. Brother, J.R. (wife: Deirdre) Halsema of Brookston and their daughter, Harper Halsema. Besslee is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents and two uncles.

Friends may call from 3:00 PM (EDT) until the time of funeral service 6:00 PM (EDT) Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston. Pastor Karen Bray of the Brookston United Methodist Church to officiate.

Following services, the family would like to invite family and friends to the Brookston Federated Church (202 S. Wood St. Brookston, IN 47923) for a meal and fellowship.

In lieu of floral arrangements, memorial contributions may be made to the family with all proceeds benefiting her daughter, Zoey.
