Robert "Bob" James Foster( October 25, 1942 - December 24, 2024 ) Robert “Bob” James Foster was born October 25, 1942 to Cecil Wayne and Geneva Opal ( Paris) Foster. He was a 1960 graduate of Reynolds High School. Bob proudly served 4 years in the United States Air Force from 1961-1965. He was stationed in Glasgow, Montana. After his service he lived in Monticello and worked at RCA, Alcoa, retiring from Omni Forge. Bob had talent for creating things with his hands. He enjoyed woodworking and refinishing furniture. After retirement, he built and displayed train and ship models. He was an avid book reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles. He was a Boilermaker fan and enjoyed watching Purdue Men’s and Women’s basketball. Bob’s favorite pastime was listening and singing along to classic country and blue grass music. Bob was a gentle soul and loved being outdoors and took in many stray dogs and cats over his lifetime. He also enjoyed being an uncle and attending family reunions over the years with siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews. Many of us enjoyed his stories of his Air Force years, his factory work, and tales of all the family and friends he had loved. Bob is survived by two brothers, Michael (Cheryl) of Glen Burnie, Maryland and Richard (Crystal) of Brookston; two sisters, Donna (Mike)Hermansen of Phoenix, Arizona and Joann Kaiser of Kokomo; many nieces and nephews, Larry (Chunmei Tao) Ostheimer, Tina Montgomery, Jennifer (Phil) Shores, John Foster, Kathy Foster, Babette (Jerry) Poland, Kitzie Korniak, Heather (Alex) Frost, Natalie Foster, Adam Foster, Bradley (Tammy) Manning, Elyse Kaiser, Diana (Tara Hensle) Kaiser, Matt Kaiser.
