It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Russell E. Newland on April 20th, 2025, at the age of 86 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Delphi, IN.

Russell will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 23 years, Connie Newland. Children: Cynthia Lashley (Vance Lashley), Jerry Newland (JoAnn Newland), Terry Newland, Jim Newland. Grandchildren: Kyle Lashley (Breanna Lashley), Dennis Newland, Cassandra Telkamp, Jordan Newland, Rochelle Newland, Kaitlyn Newland, and many more grandchildren. Great grandchildren: Caden Lashley and others, as well as and nieces and nephews. Special Friends: Everyone at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Delphi, IN.

Russell worked at Boeing for 43 years in California. He enjoyed bowling, motorcycles, and cars. He loved The Ohio State Buckeyes Football. He also loved wood working and fixing anything he could find that was broken. He had a special love of cats (Pebbles & Bam Bam). He enjoyed making people laugh, a love of music and always had a smile on his face. Russell was a Christian and loved the Lord.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
