Theresa G. Schroeder, 62, of Reynolds, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Born on March 24, 1963, in Monticello, she was the beloved daughter of Judy (Cowger) Luse and the late Bill Luse. Theresa attended Twin Lakes High School.

On March 28, 1981, she married Timothy Schroeder in Monticello, and together they built a loving family. Theresa worked as a clerk for several years at local gas stations around White County, where she was known for her friendly demeanor and dedication.

Theresa had a passion for planting flowers, especially lilies and lilacs, and took great joy in decorating her home and collecting trinkets. Her love for her family was evident in every aspect of her life.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Timothy, her mother, Judy, and her children, Aaron Schroeder of Reynolds and Brittany (Jeremy) Wilkerson of Brookston. She was a cherished grandmother to Landen, Jayden, Nolen, Kaysen, Chloe, and bonus grandma to Ashtin and Reagin. Sisters, Brooke Russell of Lafayette and Tammy Luse of Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Luse, and her brother, Billy Luse.

Friends are welcome to call from 12:00 PM (EST) until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM (EST) on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston. Pastor Andrew Keller of St. James Lutheran Church will officiate, with interment to follow in St. James Lutheran Cemetery of Reynolds.
