Addison R. McElwee, 12, of Goodland, passed away unexpectedly on June 13, 2025, at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. Born on January 3, 2013, in Rensselaer to Sabrina Stone and the late Adam McElwee, Addison was a bright and loving child who attended the South Newton School Corporation, having just completed the 6th grade.

Known for her love of dancing and music, Addison brought joy to everyone around her. Her selfless act of organ donation through the Indiana Donor Network has given the gift of life to others in need.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Sabrina (Andrew Riddell) Stone of Goodland, and her siblings, Alexis, Summer, Zach, Tessa, and Jackson. Her paternal grandparents, Charles (Penny) McElwee and Kathy Wunder, and her maternal great-grandparents, Ernest and Sue Stone, also cherish her memory.

Addison was preceded in death by her father, Adam McElwee, and her maternal grandparents, Angela and Gordon England.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM (CDT) at the Goodland Community Center, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember her vibrant spirit.
