Kerri Kinsey, 59, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on October 18, 2025.

She was born on June 5, 1966, to John Kinsey, (Joyce) and Carol Phillips, (Steve Phillips deceased).

She graduated in the last class at Haworth High School in 1984. She attended Purdue University which inspired her to become a huge Boilermaker fan. She had a strong faith and served as a Deacon and lifelong member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Kokomo.

She loved the sun and the beach, dancing, music, loved reading and watching the Colts, and “Live on Patrol” on TV with her brother John.

She will be remembered as a loving mother and doting Nana. Her grandkids were her world.

Kerri is survived by her children: Nicholas Smith (wife Erica), Michael Smith (wife, Marilyn), Samantha Grant (husband Vince), Bradley Smith (deceased), and Jennifer Sharp (honorary daughter).

Surviving are her grandkids: Avah, Ethan, Jackson, Olivia, Carson, Gracie, Shayna, Saraya, Payton, and Nikkiera.

Her surviving siblings are: Tia Sparks (husband Tim), Tonya Staten (husband Mike), John (wife Chris), Jeff (wife Amber), and Ryan Cannon.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and uncles.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, 11:00 AM at Faith Presbyterian Church in Kokomo.
