Suzann Hale, 81, a longtime resident of Brookston, went to be with the Lord this Christmas, passing away at 8:52 a.m. Christmas morning.

  Suzann was born November 5, 1944, in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Russell & Leona (Rardon) McKee.  She was a 1964 graduate of Brookston High School.

  Suzann married the love of her life, Dallas Hale on April 19, 1975, in Frankfort, Indiana.  Together, they shared a wonderful marriage of love, laughter and good times with family and friends.

  Suzann worked for the Indiana Veterans Home for 25 years, retiring in 2000.  She always enjoyed her time spent helping our veterans and the many friendships made throughout the years.

  She enjoyed cleaning house, family work and word search puzzles.  Suzanne loved spending time with her family and her animals.   Her dogs, Bubba Ray and Chloe Ann were her best buddies.

  Surviving are her two daughters, Crystal Hale and Misty Medley (Travis); her granddaughter, Kyra Bell (Kyle) and her two great-grandchildren, Kesiah and Khivan.

  Preceding her in death with her parents Russell and Leona and her husband, Dallas are her two best friends, Ruby Qualls and Helen Simms.

  Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston; Rev. Dr. Lelan D. McReynolds to officiate.  Interment to follow in Brookston Cemetery.
