Belinda K. Hood, 63, of Goodland, passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at her home. Born on October 29, 1962, to the late Norman and Idabelle (Roberts) Pipes, Belinda was a 1981 graduate of South Newton High School. She married Randy Hood on September 11, 1981, at the First Christian Church of Brook. Randy preceded her in death on February 13, 2015.

Belinda spent most of her life in Benton and Newton County, residing in Goodland for the past 35 years. She worked as a manager at Dollar General in Fowler for 10 years and at Caseys of Remington for another 10 years. Belinda was known for her love of conversation and visiting with friends and family. She was an avid Purdue sports fan, enjoyed attending sporting events, camping, and cherished time spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Jeremy (Kelli) Hood of Lafayette, Travis (Deborah) Hood of Arburg, Switzerland, Trenton Hood of West Lafayette, Justin Hood of West Lafayette, and Heather Hood of Goodland. Belinda is also survived by her sister, Tammy (Thomas) Drish of Rensselaer, and her beloved grandchildren, Tristen, Chelsey, Haydn, Haley, Landon, Ellie, and Abbie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Hood, and her parents, Norman and Idabelle Pipes.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM (CST) on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Fairlawn Cemetery of Kentland.
