Gregory Dee Samuels, 65, passed away on September 25, 2026. He was born on December 19, 1960, in Logansport, Indiana to the late Roger Aaron and Melba (Buzbee) Samuels.

Gregory was a 1978 graduate of Delphi High School. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion in Rochester.

His marriage was to Kim (Anderson) Martincich on September of 1996, they later divorced.

Greg worked as a truck driver and semi-truck instructor and also worked as an electrician throughout his career.

He enjoyed woodworking, traveling, and singing karaoke. He loved country music and could always appreciate a good cup of coffee, which he considered himself quite the connoisseur of. He also enjoyed cold beer and peanut butter whiskey.

Greg will be remembered for his love of music, travel and the simple things he enjoyed in life.

He is survived by three children, Emma Samuels (companion, Kaleb) of Lafayette, Lisa Esquibel (husband, Brady) of Utah and Gregory Samuels of Louisiana and Ryan Stout (wife, Jordan) ; three brothers, Steven Roger Samuels (wife, Jan) of Frankfort, Curtis Allen Samuels of Kentucky and Mark Edward Samuels (wife, Cheryl) of West Lafayette; half-brother, Jason Samuels; grandchildren, Kaylynn, Emrick, Lorenzo, Bree, Kahlan, Shaylee, Rylynn and Charlotte and ex-wife, Kim Martincich of Monticello.

Per Greg’s wishes, services will be held privately for his family.
