Brenda's Obituary
Brenda K. Jones,72, of Monon, Indiana, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 10, 2024, at the Rensselaer Care Center.
Born on December 18, 1951, to the late Warren Lowell and Milna Ann (Gentry) Kesler, Brenda was a cherished member of her community.
Brenda attended North White High School and married the love of her life, Willard R. Jones, on December 23, 1967, in Monon, Indiana. Willard preceded her in death on June 15, 2024.
She was a devoted member of The Baptist Church in Monon and actively participated in various organizations, including Tri-Kappa, the Home Ec Club, and the expo for special needs. Brenda's career at North White School saw her working in the kitchen, in school suspension, home room, and study hall. She was also proud to serve as a girl scout leader.
Brenda had a passion for arts and crafts, mushroom hunting, babysitting, and watching NASCAR.
Her family was her pride and joy, and she is survived by her children, Amy Smith (husband, Randy) of Monticello, Jerry Jones (wife Melissa) of Delphi, Kelly Jones of Rensselaer, and Desiery Kyle (husband Ruby) of Monon. She also leaves behind two siblings, Pamela Cooley of Monon and Michael Kesler (wife, Cindy) of Monticello, along with ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.
Along with Brenda’s parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a sister, Melinda Myers and two grandchildren, Issac and Zoe.
Friends may call on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 12:00pm until the time of services celebrating Brenda’s life at 2:00pm at the Fred L. Miller Memorial Chapel of the Roscka Roth & Clapper Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Bedford Cemetery in Monon, Indiana.
