Emma's Obituary
Emma Renee Nolan, 22, of West Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 15, 2026. Born on May 24, 2003, in Lafayette, she was the cherished daughter of Anne (Klopfenstein) Nolan and Jamie Nolan. Emma was a graduate of Harrison High School.
Emma's life was filled with passions and joys, including her love for horses, her cat, and most importantly, her beloved daughter, Runa Vicki Nolan. She was an active participant in 4-H for several years in Tippecanoe County, where she made many memories. Emma also found delight in listening to and writing music, as well as drawing.
She is survived by her daughter, Runa Vicki Nolan; her mother, Anne Klopfenstein Nolan of West Lafayette; her father, Jamie (Trish) Nolan of Winamac; her siblings, Colton Nolan of West Lafayette and Felicity Baldridge of Lebanon; and her nephew and niece, Karsen and Harper. Emma is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Roger and Lisa Klopfenstein, and her paternal grandmother, Vicki Nolan, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Emma was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, James Nolan.
A visitation will be held from 4-7 PM (EST) on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM (EST) on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Riverside Cemetery of Howe, IN.
Memorial contributions may be made to Emma's family, to benefit her daughter, Runa Vicki Nolan.
