Anton's Obituary
Anton “Tony” Shebesh Sr. 73, of Monticello, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at 9:40 a.m. Thursday, January 1, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Delphi.
Tony was born February 5, 1952, in East Chicago, Indiana to the late William and Irma (Jergens) Shebesh.
Tony enjoyed fishing, country music, police & fireman shows, Bald Eagles, collecting antiques and a good yard sale. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Surviving are his children, Ryan Shebesh, Anton Shebesh Jr. (Maria), Tonya Morgan (Larry) and Crystal Shebesh and his siblings, Patricia Kinnaird and James Shebesh (Lynn). Tony cherished his grandchildren, Brendon Shebesh, Hunter Morgan (Kelsie), Kaitlyn and Finley Morgan. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Terry and his brothers Wally and John.
Per Tony’s wishes no services are planned.
