Austin Michael Jordan, 22, of Wolcott, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018 at 1:15 p.m. due to an automobile accident.

He was born October 12, 1996 in Lafayette to Michael A. Jordan and Ida L. Inman.

Austin was a member of the Tri-County High School football team where he was All-Conference and All-Area and was also a member of the baseball team.  He was a 2015 graduate of Tri-County High School.

After high school Austin worked for D & K Electric of Remington and was currently working for Industrial Cleaning Systems (ICS) in Rensselaer.

Austin enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He loved his brothers and sisters and was a great big brother.  He was handsome, quiet and shy but also voted the “biggest flirt” by his classmate’s senior year.  Austin was a hard worker, patient and always willing to lend a hand, if you needed something he would be there.  He was a beautiful person both inside and out and will be sorely missed.

Surviving is his father, Mike Jordan (wife: Lora) of Wolcott; his mother, Ida L. Ward of Wolcott; his siblings, Trystn Taylor (wife: Sarah) of North Carolina, Montana Jordan, Tyson Jordan and Chezney Ward all of Wolcott; a special nephew, Knox Taylor; his grandmother, Chris Jordan of Wolcott and his grandfather, Jimmy Inman of Wolcott.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Gayla Inman.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 at Foster-Clapper Funeral Home of Wolcott.  Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018 also at the Foster-Clapper Funeral Home.  Interment to follow in the Wolcott Cemetery.
