Betty's Obituary

Betty Daily Geddes, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on June 27th at the age of 92 in Georgetown, TX. She was born on September 1, 1930, in Oak, Indiana, to Everett and Janet Daily. Betty lived in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she raised her two daughters, was a member of The Eastern Star, and enjoyed a successful career in the banking industry. In her later years, Betty relocated to Texas to avoid the brutal Indiana weather and to be closer to her daughter, Karen and family.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, sister Marilee, and son-in-law Eric. She is survived by her loving daughters, Karen Hagen (husband Guy Hagen) and Cheryl Louks. She is also survived by her brother, Loren Daily (wife, Gloria Daily). Betty was blessed to be survived by 3 nephews and a niece.

Affectionately known as Nin, Betty leaves behind a cherished blend of grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life. Her grandchildren, Ryan Weston (wife Kristin), Nathan Hagen (wife Leslie), Brent Hagen (wife Carrie), Jordan Louks (wife Jessica), and Alexis Louks (fiancé Grant), were a constant source of pride and happiness for Betty. Her great-grandchildren, Caden Weston, Carson Louks, Linnea Hagen, Paige Hagen, Oliver Hagen, Camden Hagen, Sawyer Hagen, Natalie Louks and Ian Louks were always quick to bring a smile to Nin’s face.

Betty will be remembered for her fierce independence, love for coffee ice cream, and unwavering faith in the Lord. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will serve as an inspiration and source of comfort to those she leaves behind.

The family expresses heartfelt gratitude for the love and support received during this difficult time.

A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Betty’s life.
