Blanche Wandrei

Blanche Wandrei, 85, of Monticello, passed away at 12:05 PM, Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Monticello Health Care. She was born November 1, 1934 in Remington, Indiana to the late Cassius and Anna (Mitchell) Conwell.
Her marriage was to Herbert A. Wandrei on March 18, 1951 in St. James Lutheran Church of Reynolds. Herbert preceded her in death in 1989.
Blanche was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering on Jeff Gordon. She also enjoyed quilting, crocheting, cooking, and loved time spent with family and friends.
Blanche is survived by her son, Herb Wandrei of Lake Worth, Florida; sister, Sarah (Perry) Hindsley of Reynolds. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death along with her husband and parents is a daughter, Jenny Wandrei; two brothers, Andrew and Charles Conwell.
A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at St. James Lutheran Cemetery of Reynolds.
