Charles' Obituary
Charles Auxier Jr., age 31, from Goodland, IN, passed away at 7:30 am on Saturday, June 8th,
2024.
Charles was born January 8th, 1993 at Rensselaer, IN to Tina Goodman and Charles “Charlie”
Auxier Sr.. He graduated from South Newton High School in Kentland, IN in 2012 and went on
to become a Certified Gunsmith from the Sonoran Desert Institute in 2019. Charles proudly
became a father in 2013, to a beautiful little girl.
Charles loved to go fishing, playing various video games with his friends, repairing old guns and
knives. He was a well loved man in the community, and friendly Assistant manager to all his
customers. Charles was always helping anyone who needed it.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Farrah. He also lives on through his mother, Tina (Michael)
Goodman, his father Charlie (Kelly) Auxier, his sisters, Tisha Auxier, Samantha (David) Fee,
Ava and Chyan Auxier. He is survived by his brothers, Travis Auxier, Vince Shide, and Chance
Sparks and Matthew Smith. Along with his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Preceding him in death is his grandparents, Thomas Rusk Sr., Sandra “Sandy” Burke, Dalton
“Red” Auxier Sr., his great- grandparents, Ivan (Delores) Wilder, and Ruby Rusk. Aunt Brenda
Chalfin, Uncle Gordan (Angie) England.
Family and friends may come to the Trinity Church Goodland Campus for a celebration of life on
Saturday, June 15th, 2024 between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
