Charlette M. Brammer

Charlette M. Brammer, 84, of West Lafayette, formerly of Sheldon and Fowler, passed away on August 29, 2022 at Milner Community Health Care Center of Rossville, IN. She was born April 15, 1938 in Benton County to the late Charles and Sarah (Johnson) Berry. Charlette attended Fowler High School.

Her marriage was to Gary J. Brammer on July 17, 1954 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Beaverville, IL and he survives.

Charlette was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed shopping.

She is survived by her children, Teresa (Gary) Gretencord of Earl Park, IN, Chuck (Diane) Brammer of Cape Coral, FL, and Tim Brammer of Pine Village, IN. Grandchildren, Jennifer Fry, Michelle Thurston, Lauren Thomas, Amanda Brammer, and Amber Brammer; 7 great-grandchildren. Charlette is also survived by one sister, Hazel Carter of Milford, IL.

Charlette is preceded in death by her parents; children, Joey and Tammy Brammer; two brothers and one sister.

Friends may call from 10 AM (CDT) until the time of Funeral Mass 11 AM (CDT) Thursday, September 1, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church (308 St. Charles St. Beaverville, IL 60912). Fr. Michael Powell to officiate. Interment to follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
