Clarence L. “Junior” Bridwell, 55, of Chalmers, passed away at 7:30 p.m., Friday, September 26, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.
Junior was born July 23, 1970, in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Clarence L. Bridwell Sr. and Joyce (Haywood) Wall. He was a 1989 graduate of McCutcheon High School where he would meet his eventual wife, Lisa. After high school, Junior earned his welding certification from Ivy Tech.
Junior worked as Team Coordinator for Tate & Lyle (now Primient) since 2004. Prior to that he worked at Aurora Parts in Lafayette distributing parts for Wabash National.
On October 28, 2019, he married Lisa King at a small chapel in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Together the two would share many wonderful memories with family and friends.
Junior was an avid IU fan. He enjoyed dirt track racing at Shady Hill on weekends, going out to eat with friends and spending time watching his grandchildren play sports. Above all, Junior loved spending time with his family, especially on holidays. He had a wonderful, loud and outgoing personality; you couldn’t go anywhere without seeing someone he knew.
Surviving with his wife Lisa are their children, Alyssa Sterrett (Trever), Brendon Bridwell, Joseph King (Nick), Ashley Holbrook (Keegen); his mother, Joyce Wall, two brothers, Robert Bridwell (Kayla) and Eddie Bridwell; a sister-in-law, Sara Bridwell and his grandkids, Camdyn, Lilah and Jarvis. Also surviving are uncles, Gary Haywood and Kenny Bridwell, an aunt, Jean Haywood, his mother-in-law, Sue Hinman (Wayne), father-in-law, Larry Fletcher, his brother-in-law, Aaron Fletcher (Breanna) and several special nieces and nephews.
