They also had a deep love for animals and would often take in homeless or injured dogs and cats. She was also a member of the Cayuga Order of the Eastern Star chapter and the Cayuga Lions Club Auxiliary.
Claudia loved spending time on the phone with family and friends and reading. An accomplished seamstress, Claudia would make prom dresses for young ladies from families that could not afford them and also repaired the torn uniforms for the local high school. The heart of a servant, Claudia would allow other kids to join on family vacations and loved making pies for people in need or for little children that wanted them.
