Clusta "Bo" Downing

Clusta “Bo” Downing, 95, of Wolcott, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at her home.

She was born July 7, 1925 in New Mexico to the late Fred and Ruth (Caudill) LaMunyon. Bo completed both high school and university while in New Mexico. Her marriage was to Charles Downing, he passed in 1985.

Bo was a member of the Meadow Lake Presbyterian Church in Wolcott and also a long time member of the Fellowship of Christian Churches. Bo loved spending time with family and was very active within the church. She also enjoyed playing Bridge with friends.

Bo taught Home Ec in both Pueblo, CO and Culver, IN for several years. She would eventually serve as secretary to her husband Charles who was superintendent at Tri-County School Corporation.

Surviving are a sister, Betty LaMunyon of Wolcott; sister-in-law Arva LaMunyon of South Carolina; a niece, June (Bill) Stewart of Mathis, TX; three nephews, Jerold Stewart of Livingston, TX, Tim (Joanna) LaMunyon of Florida, and Dan LaMunyon of South Carolina. Also surviving are several great nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death along with her husband and parents are two sisters, Billie Moody and Oleta LaMunyon; one brother, Ben LaMunyon.

A private family graveside will be held in Meadow Lake Cemetery of Wolcott.
