Debra Ann McKinley

Debra Ann (Muller) McKinley, 69, of Kentland, IN passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. Born on December 8, 1955, in Lafayette, IN, to the late George and Mable (Windler) Muller.

She was a 1974 graduate of Benton Central High School, a faithful member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church, and also involved with the Saint Joe Women’s circle; as well as a member of the Earl Park American Legion Auxiliary Post 455.

Deb worked for many years at AgVenture Seed of Kentland, where she enjoyed networking with customers. Traveling was one of her joys in life, which allowed her to see many places. One of her favorite trips was to Hawaii with her mother.

She was a foodie at heart, enjoying cooking and baking new recipes. She loved visiting with family and friends and left a mark in everyone’s hearts.

She is survived by her daughters, Katie (Cory) Westerberg of Kentland and Erin Ortiz of Monticello. Also surviving are her grandsons, Keegan Hall, Eric Westerberg, and Cody Westerberg; her great grandson, Eli Westerberg; her siblings, Diann (Dave) Murfitt, Don Muller, Dan Muller, and Dean Muller; along with many nieces and nephews.

Deb was also preceded in death by her son, Eugene “Gene” Hall and her brothers, Dick Muller, Duane Muller, and Dale Muller.

A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM (CDT) on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home of Kentland. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM (CDT) Saturday, June 21, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church Kentland. Fr. Sean Aaron to officiate. Interment to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Debra’s name to St. Joseph Catholic Church of Kentland.
