Dennis Lee Cornell

Dennis Lee Cornell, 66, passed away on June 12, 2023, at his home in Lafayette. Born on July 9, 1956, in Rensselaer, IN, to Edward and Maxine Cornell, he was a 1974 graduate of Tri-County High School and worked most of his life in manufacturing.

To know Denny was to like him; he had a generous heart, and never met a stranger. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and was an avid listener of music.

 He is survived by a brother, Bill Cornell; daughter, Lacy Cornell, of Greenwood, IN; son Ethan Cornell (Robin Cornell), of Remington, IN; daughter Amie Sult (Cornell) (Derik Sult), of Fowler, IN; stepson Christopher Winchester (Micila Winchester) of Fowler, IN; and stepson Anthony Winchester, also of Fowler.

 Denny is also survived by several grandchildren and step grandchildren: Xavier, Landon, and Vincent Schloot; DeLila Cornell; Brooklyn, Adam, Elizabeth, Asher, and Eden Sult; Mackenzie, Wyatt, Noah, Quinn, and Obie Winchester.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Cornell (Dunbar); both of his parents; sister, Sue Forcey (Cornell); and stepdaughter, Amber Masterson (Winchester).

 A celebration of life will take place on what would have been his 67th birthday, July 9th, 2023 from 12 PM - 5 PM EST, at the Depot in Remington, located at 29 E South Railroad St.
