Dennis L. Wilder

Dennis L. Wilder, 72, of Remington, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Born on July 1, 1954, in Lafayette, Dennis was the beloved son of the late Ivan and Delores (Roberts) Wilder. A proud graduate of Tri-County High School in 1972, he furthered his education at Indiana State University.

On August 1, 1981, Dennis married Rebecca (Malone) Dickinson in Remington, a union that lasted until her passing on May 17, 2018. Dennis dedicated his career to local agriculture, working at Farmers Cooperative Feed Mill, Farmers Cooperative Elevator office, DeKalb Seed, and eventually retiring from Monsanto Seed in January of 2017. In his leisure time, he found joy in woodworking, reading, and listening to music.

Dennis is survived by his stepchildren, Alysia (Jim) Rouse of Greentown, IN, and Andy (Athena) Dickinson of Burnettsville, IN, his brother David Wilder of Remington, and five cherished step-grandchildren: Alysan, Noah, Ashton, Nathaniel, and Reece. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death, along with his wife and parents, is his sister, Sandra K. (Wilder) Burke.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM EST until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM EST on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home of Remington. Interment will follow in Remington Cemetery.
