Dominik's Obituary
Dominik J. Cullum, 27, of Brookston, passed away at his residence at 12:01 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2024.
Dominik was born November 20, 1996 in Lafayette, Indiana to Shaun R. and Trina (Zebrowski) Cullum. He attended Frontier High School and later earned his GED.
Dominik worked as a painter and detailed cars. Most recently, Dominik worked for Trinity Missions moving furniture. Dom valued his many friends at Wea Ridge Baptist Church where he was recently baptized. In his free time, he liked to draw and was a Los Angeles Rams fan like his dad, Shaun.
Dominik had a personality that would light up any room. He would go out of his way to help others. He loved to laugh and joke and had a huge, loving heart. Dom was the first person to man the grill at cookouts and the first person to help clean up after. Dominik had a way to make others feel valued and important, always putting their needs before his own.
Surviving is his father, Shaun Cullum (wife: Megan) of Brookston; his mother, Trina Cullum of Lafayette; his brother, Dilyn Cullum of Brookston; his step siblings, Madison Stevens, Gavin Ruemler, Kolt Ruemler and Clara Ruemler all of Brookston; his paternal grandmother, Beverly Cullum and his maternal grandparents, Jim and Jenny Hampsch. Also surviving is his best friend and girlfriend, Tatianna Peterson.
Preceding Dominik in death is his grandfather, Jimmy Cullum.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston; Pastor Dan Sager of Wea Ridge Baptist Church to officiate. Private family interment to occur at a later date.
