Donna L Case

Donna L. Case, 66, of Chalmers passed away at 8:13 p.m., on Christmas day, Friday, December 25, 2020 while in-route to Indianapolis for medical treatment.

  She was born June 18, 1954 in White County, Indiana to the late Leroy L. & Barbara J. (Parker) Case.  Donna was raised by her mother & her step-father, Delbert Stotler.  Donna attended Twin Lakes High School.

  Her marriage was to Frank Kruega in 1977; they later divorced.

  Donna worked for Walmart in Monticello for over 10 years.  She also worked for Jessup Paper Box of Brookston for 10 year and Polymer Science in Reynolds several years.

  Donna enjoyed playing UNO and watching reruns of Criminal Minds.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Donna also enjoyed pampering her favorite dog, Sheena.

  Surviving are her children, Kyle L. Case (Valerie) of Idaville, Jocelyn Kruega (J.C.) of Pine Village and Cory G. Kruega (Stacie St. John) of Chalmers; her step-father, Delbert Stotler; a sister, Linda Long of Murray, KY and brother, Leroy Case Jr. (Susan) of Monon.  The light of Donna’s life were her grandchildren, Adam, Kylie, Cierra, Breanna & Kyra.  Also surviving are her special nieces and nephews, Michelle, Cody and Chas.

  Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston; Rev. Dr. Lelan D. McReynolds to officiate.  Interment to follow in Chalmers Community Cemetery.

  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Donna L. Merriman Memorial Fund to be use for a later good in her name.
