Elverda's Obituary
Elverda Marie Pace, 88, of Monticello, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, May 31, 2024. She was born February 17, 1936 in Winamac to the late Milo Clifford Archer and Sylvia Sophia (Hunnicutt) Archer.
Her marriage was to the love of her life Franklin Pace and he preceded her in death on February 16, 2010.
Elverda loved crocheting and had given several homemade blankets to her family.
She is survived by her children, Diana M. Blount of Tennessee, Robert (Jaime) Sheffer of Valparaiso, Peggy (Daryl) Doyle of Monticello, Steven (Melinda) Sheffer of Reynolds, and Laura Clause. One sister, Sylvia Lovely. Elverda is also survived by her 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death along with her husband and parents is one son, Oral Sheffer; 3 sisters and two brothers.
Per Elverda’s wishes, no formal services will be held at this time.
