Erik's Obituary
Erik Ethan Hardesty, 24, of Brookston, Indiana died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, in Brookston, Indiana.
Ethan was born on Tuesday, October 13, 1998, in Merrillville, Indiana to Erik and Terri (Crawford) Hardesty. They survive.
Ethan graduated from Kankakee Valley High School and went onto pursue a career in manufacturing. He was currently employed with Leman Engineering of Brookston, Indiana. Ethan enjoyed spending time with family and friends when he wasn't trying to learn something new.
Ethan is survived by his parents, Erik and Terri Hardesty; grandparents, Kathy (Payne) Bradfield, Ron and Julie (Chase) Hardesty, Margaret (Klimp) Lucas, and Donna (Barker) Crawford; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Ethan was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Richard Bradfield, Robert Lucas, and Howard "Slim" Crawford; uncle, Shaun Hardesty.
A celebration of Ethan's life will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 12:00 noon till 4:00 p.m. at Leman Engineering 520 East 1050 South, Brookston, Indiana 47923. You are encouraged to dress casually, bring a covered dish to share, and fellowship with the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the family. Envelopes can be sent directly to the family or 6368 E. US 24, Monticello, Indiana 47960 C/O Hardesty Family.
