Fern Musson, 93, of Lafayette, passed away at 9:00 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2022 at Cumberland Pointe of West Lafayette.
Fern was born October 7, 1928 in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Gust and Wilhemina (Larson) Nelson. Fern was a proud 1946 graduate of Klondike High School.
Her marriage of 47 years was to Merle E. Musson on June 5, 1949 in the Montmorenci United Brethren Church. Merle preceded her in death on August 6, 1997.
Fern was devoted wife and homemaker. She was a longtime member of the Battle Ground United Methodist Church. Fern was also a member of the Americus Quilting Club.
Fern enjoyed traveling, quilting and socializing with her friends, playing Euchre and BINGO. Fern loved cats and occasionally, a good piece of chocolate. She had a sweet and gentle personality and was loved by all.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews and will be sorely missed.
Preceding her in death with her parents and husband is a brother, Edmond Nelson.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2022 at the Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home; Roger Cunningham to officiate. Interment to follow in the Riverside Cemetery of Attica.
