Floyd Ellis Cooley “Bub” passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 9, 2022. He was born to the late Ray and Evelyn (Ellis) Cooley. Bub was a graduate of North White High School, class of 1968. He retired in 2012 from Bethlehem Steel after 42 years as a dedicated Millwright.
His marriage of 40 years was to the love of his life Pamela (Kesler) Cooley, whom he playfully referred to as “Buels”.
He enjoyed spending his time boating, fishing, cook outs, and being with his family and friends. He also had a passion for mushroom hunting and evenings at the racetrack. His greatest love in racing, of course, was Cooley Racing.
Bub will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his 3 children, Patience (husband: Shane) Skeen, Beau (wife: Taryn) Cooley, A.J. (wife: Megan) Cooley and his wonderful 6 grandchildren, Samantha, Dylan, Hayden, Camdyn, Brysen, and Keizer Floyd.
Please join us in celebrating Bub’s life on Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 1 PM (ET) until the time of Funeral Services 4 PM (ET) at Clapper Family Funeral Home in Monon.
He will be laid to rest in Bedford Cemetery, forever looking over the home that his dad built... The Cooley Cabin.
