Gail A. (Neal) Marconett, 60, of Brookston, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at IU Health Hospital of Lafayette. She was born October 31, 1959 in Lafayette to Wallace and Kathleen (Sulfridge) Neal. Gail was a 1978 graduate of Frontier High School.
Her first marriage was to Randy Elizalde in 1983 and they later divorced. Gail then married Steve Marconett in 2004 and he survives.
Gail enjoyed watching NASCAR, tending to her flowers, gardening, and spending time with her grandsons.
Surviving along with her husband and father is a daughter, Kali (husband: Kyle) Bledsoe of Lafayette; two grandsons, Leo Bledsoe and Kobie Whitaker; siblings, Cheryl Neal of Chalmers, Joel (Kristy) Neal of Lafayette, and Brian Neal of Chalmers; step-son, Travis Marconett of West Lafayette; step-granddaughter, Jordan; step-great-grandsons, Cooper and Conner. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death along with her mother is a son, Joshua Whitaker.
A private graveside service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020 at Spring Creek Cemetery.
