Gary R. “Bubba” Gray, 65, of Delphi, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. He was born October 29, 1955 in Lafayette to the late Cotton and Carolyn J. (Barton) Gray. Gary attended Harrison High School.
His first marriage was to Wanda Long in 1974, they later divorced. Gary would later meet Patty Robinette; they had been together 25 years.
Gary was a member of American Legion SAL Post 492 of West Lafayette. He worked several years at Indiana Packers Corporation of Delphi in the maintenance department until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time fishing, watching westerns, reading, and playing games.
Surviving along with his companion Patty, are children, Bradly (Susan) Gray of Logansport and Cindy (Brian) Medley of Battle Ground; step-children, Troy Robinette of Delphi and Tim (Jayme) Robinette also of Delphi. Gary is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 12-3 PM (EST) Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston. A time for sharing memories and stories of Gary will begin at 3 PM. Inurnment will be held at Battle Ground Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in Gary’s name to the family for a good cause to be determined.
