Hershel David Troyer

Hershel David “Diamond Dave” Troyer, 32, of Monon passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 20. 2022. He was born February 1, 1990 in Rensselaer, IN to Bruce and Cindy (Mohler) Troyer of Kentland; they survive.

David was self-employed as a mechanic and was very talented when it came to small engines repairs. He loved playing music, building or working on bikes, cars, anything with an engine. 

Surviving along with his parents is a sister, Sarah Troyer (husband: Andy Smith) of Monticello and nephew, Taron Smith.

He was a friend to many, and was always helping anyone who needed it. He was very active in his community and will be missed by many.

At this time, the Troyer family is taking time to grieve in private. Any future memorials will be announced at a later date.
